Today we say good bye to Mrs. Graveson after 17 years at Thorpe. We would like to say a huge thank you to her for all her hard work and support over the years. I am sure that you will join us in wishing her all the best for the future. Goodbye and good luck, Mrs. Graveson!
As some of you already know today is my last day. It is the end of an era for me and I would like to say thank you to all our lovely children and parents, some of whom I have known for a very long time. I would never have left our lovely school if I hadn’t moved 300 miles away. I am going to miss the children very much and will never forget my time at Thorpe. I have many lovely memories to take with me. Once again thank you for all your support. Mrs. Graveson.
All year groups will visit their new class on Friday 9th October and will then be in their new class permanently from Friday 16th October.
These will be telephone consultations with your child’s current teacher. Letters were sent home on Monday.

Hello Yellow Day Friday 9th October
This year once again we will be supporting ‘Hello Yellow’ day which is organised by the charity ‘Young minds’, to raise awareness of children’s mental health and wellbeing. The charity is leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges.
On 9th October, children can come to school in non-uniform either dressed like sunshine from head to toe or wearing a splash of yellow (this could be something small and simple like socks, headband, or sunglasses.)
There will be no charge for this but if you wish to donate you can do so online at:
