Anti-Bullying Week 12th -16th November
We will once again be supporting this campaign, which is co-ordinated by the Anti-Bullying Alliance each year.
This year’s theme is ‘Choose Respect’ and key areas which will be focused on are:
- The definition of respect
- That bullying is a behaviour choice
- That we can respectfully disagree with each other i.e. we don’t have to be best friends or always agree with each other but we do have to respect each other
- That we all need to choose to respect each other, both face to face and online
In school we will hold an assembly and individual classes will be doing some activities around respect and anti-bullying.
We will be taking part in the ‘Odd Socks’ Day on Monday 12th November. Children will come into school in uniform, but can, if they wish, wear odd socks.
Reminder: School will be closed on Friday 23rd November.
