Staff and Governors have recently been reviewing the school safeguarding procedures and as a result please see the following:-

As a safe guarding precaution, the school gates will be locked at 9am. If you bring your child to school after this time you must come in through the main car park gate and round to the school office.

Please do not bring your vehicle into the school grounds when dropping off and picking up your children to ensure that all those walking are safe.

We have received a number of complaints about inconsiderate  parking on Albion Road, please take care when driving on the roads around school. Please use the car park in the village or the co-op if possible.

Thank you  for your support.

We have recently reviewed a number of our school policies including, Behaviour, Anti-Bullying,Teaching and Learning, Health and Safety and Assessment. These can be found on the schools website for you to read.

School Council

The school council are entering a competition being offered to Primary Schools across Yorkshire and Humber for the Great Yorkshire Show 2017. The competition is to plant a vegetable box with bee-friendly flowers. We are looking forward to watching their flowers grow and bloom. You can see the box outside our school office.

One of our parents Mr Kaczmarczyk, who is a bee keeper, came and spoke to the school council yesterday. We would like to thank him for an interesting and informative session. We can’t wait to taste the honey from his own bees!
