World Book day

This week we celebrated World Book Day in style! Events on the day included, visits to local libraries, story telling sessions and book themed activities. It was wonderful to see all the children dressed up and so enthusiastic about their favourite books! Many thanks for your continued support.

Fairtrade Coffee Morning

Fairtrade Fortnight is held every year and is a time when campaigners, businesses, schools and places of worship show their support for the farmers and workers who grow our food in developing countries.

We will be supporting this event by holding a coffee morning in the community room, on Wednesday 8th March 9.00am – 10.30am.

The School Council have been and collected Fairtrade items which have been kindly donated  by the Co-op.

We would appreciate donations of buns, biscuits and cakes for the coffee morning. If these are Fairtrade or use any Fairtrade ingredients, that would be great! Please bring donations into school on 7th or 8th March.

PE Kits

As we only have a small supply of spare P.E kits in school there may be instances when children do not have their P.E kit and we have no spares left, that they are unable to participate.

PE kits are part of school uniform and should consist of a white T-shirt (with or without a logo), navy or black shorts and black pumps. Children may also bring trainers and black/ navy jogging bottoms and jumpers for outdoor PE sessions. Please make sure each item of clothing is clearly labelled with your child’s name. Long hair should be tied back and stud earrings removed or alternatively tape can be provided to cover them.

If you are unsure what day your child’s P.E lesson is or have any questions,  please contact their classteacher.

School Attendance

Please can we remind you that registration for all children commences at 8.50am.  If your child will not be in school, please can you let school know by phone or parent mail before 9.30am.
